When's the last time you wrote a note to someone and popped it in the mail? Just to say "hello"! We're all guilty of it. Perhaps we should grab a pen, note card (from your local boutique, of course) and surprise a pal. Snail mail style!

Project Progress: NW Renovation

For the past several months I have been renovating a home on behalf of Barbara Hawthorn Interiors (my former employer before Penno Interiors was born).  I had already started to become quite familiar with the client and had a pretty good idea of what selections would be perfect for this home so BHI decided to bring me back to see it through.  This project has been ah-maz-ing.  Other than the disasters of a leaking roof the week of a hurricane, wood floors buckling that we had no intension of refinishing, and 100 year old cast iron waste pipes cracking it was a lot of fun.  The client and I have been on the same page from the beginning.  Timeless, traditional, classic.
